where has the time gone......

I have decided now would be a good time to update my blog! I'm not sure anyone will ever read it but I started to think it would be a great place to share stories about my children...if not for others then just for myself:)

Jack is in Kindergarden and trying very hard everyday to not pull a card! He has had a few notes home (I find it funny that there is no place for parents to sign and return) but seems to be improving for the most part!

Belle is busy with second grade and praying everyday that her brother gets a note home as she loves it when she is not the one in trouble:)

Liz (formally known as Elizabeth) has started dance and looking forward to the dance season!! She is now in 8th grade and doing very well!!

The girls had their dance recital last night and did a great job. Isabelle was feeling a little under the weather so she just danced normal and did not add any of her own entertainment. Elizabeth did a great job, she is just getting so fun to watch. Maybe if i ever take the time to figure it out I will post a video.

Hi all,
I knew I would not be so good at this blog stuff, but again I will try to get better. It actually took me 3 tries to even get into my site..oops:) Christmas was great, the kids were so much fun! They sure are all growing up so fast. Elizabeth is doing wonderful in school (not good enough for a cell phone but still good)! Belle...well you all know Belle...she keeps me smiling every single day! And baby Jack is kind of a little...well lets just say he is the baby...but growing up fast!!

This last weekend I was able to get away with some girlfriends from High School. I shouldn't even say from High School as they are my friends that I still see very often. Jen Cole, Jen Hensley, Amy Doehling, Kristie Tipton, Stacy Kurtz, Mandi Hofstedt and myself. We of course had a blast, it is so fun to have friends like that. Our history together is amazing and we will have fun together forever!!

Other than that not much has changed...we seem to just go day to day and deal with what comes which usually is fun and excitement from the kids!

Since I am terrible at updating my blog I'm not sure anyone even reads it but I still am trying to get better. I have to share a story about Isabelle. One day we were driving on the road by our house and I was in a hurry, Belle says, "it's ok mom you can drive really fast I never see the police on this road!" The other night we were driving in town at night and we saw a police car and she say's, "mom do the police just stay out until everyone is home at night?" Now for those of you who know my sweet Belle I think she is already planning how to get away with things by paying attention to what the police are doing...should I be worried...

Girls weekend in Danbury! Whoa what a blast!! We had so much fun. The laughing was none stop from the second we left until we got home. I am smiling right now just thinking of what to type. We drank, played games, drank...we even got some Lake time...but I can't share those details. I can't wait to go again...I already have the van full of gas since I'm driving!! Fasten your seatbelts and be ready for some lane changing:)

Ugh..I knew I would not be good at this but I will give it another try. Since some of you mentioned I had art work on my site since 2005 I needed to double check and I see it's been just over a month...really do you except better from me? We are now well into summer and the kids are having loads of fun. Belle goes to Cannon kids, Jack goes to Bethie's and Elizabeth has been hanging out with Dylan and Sara, Cary's cousins from Phx. They came the beginning of June and leave the end of July. Cary and I along with Beth and Joel went to the Men's Golf Open in San Diego in the middle of June and had a blast. We left on a Wednesday night and did not come back until Monday night. Geez when I wait so long to post things I can't remember what has happened..must be my age! I have to do two posts today because I have to tell how FUN my weekend was up North!!

Upadate..I hope some still read this since I'm kind of slow in updating but I think I will get better!! Unfortunately I can not figure out how to get the video of the dance on this site ..you would think my lovely husband would help me but honestly I didn't even ask because I know what the answer would be!! Anyway I'm more than happy to show anyone who stops over because in my mind it is worth seeing!! Not much new with the home front. We are very excited for school to be done and summer to begin. Cary's cousins Dylan and Sara will be coming soon and staying for a while this summer so we will have fun!! It already seems like all the weekends of the summer are busy but I guess I like it that way!! As most of you know I played in a softball tournament this weekend and of course forgot my camera so I don't have any good pictures to show but most of you have probably seen them from Kelly and Tammy's site. I do have a Belle story to share...she rides the city bus from daycare to preschool on M-W-F and the cost is $3 round trip. One day last week I gave her the $3 for her ride and when she got home that night she showed me the money. I said, "Why do you still have that money, how did you ride the bus?" Her response was, "I told the bus driver I spent my bus money and he said I could ride for free!" I guess if he fell for it I can hardly blame her!!

Elizabeth and Belle had their dance recital last Friday. As you can imagine Isabelle was very entertaining. I ordered a video and I will post it when I receive it. She even went as far as pulling her costume over her head!!
